Students at Elizabethtown College filled out questionnaires on scenarios justifying towards different authority types, looking through both the eyes of themselves and the eyes of another person. In addition, no combination of the three factors (e.g., being optimistic, using active coping skills, and having high self-esteem) was discovered that predicts the best adjustment to college.
