Abstract: . . . you! Tina Stromsted, Ph.D., ADTR is a Jungian psychotherapist and registered dance therapist in S.F. Past co-founder and faculty of the Authentic Movement Institute in Berkeley, she teaches in the Somatics Doctoral Program at the Santa Barbara Graduate Institute, the Marion Woodman Foundation, Esalen Institute, the C.G. Jung Institute, and other universities and healing centers. With a background in dance and theater, her clinical experience spans three decades. Tina leads annual workshops interna- tionally and is a Candidate at the C.G. Jung Institute of San Francisco. Her teaching, clinical practice, consultation, and writing integrate Depth psychology, Woodman’s BodySoul Rhythms approach, Authentic Movement, creative arts therapies and other embodied approaches to reclaiming body wis- dom and living a life of soul. Witnessing and Listening with Kartikeya Patel, Ph.D. World’s wisdom traditions including Native American, Hindu and Buddhist traditions place great emphasis on developing skills to understand embodied experience of one and others, to cultivate awareness, and to listen . . . . . . the context of psychology & related disciplines. Professional: students will develop the skills & techniques required to apply principles & practices of psychology to specific activities of human endeavor, such as education, research, counseling, administration, human development, social work & other helping professions.
